We are a training center for all levels of greyhounds from new young inexperienced greyhounds all the way to rehabilitation and reconditioning of racing greyhounds. We are the only 100% greyhound training only facility within a four state area with the all drvitt Lure system. We have 50 different greyhound kennels within 30 miles of Abilene with many years of training experience. Some kennels are 2nd and 3rd generation greyhound families. We have indoor and outdoor seating for year round viewing comfort.

The Central Kansas Free Fair was established in Abilene as a family event in 1924 with the goal to conduct the County Fair (largest in Kansas). The County Fair consists of 4-H and open class exhibits, commercial exhibits, 3 nights of Rodeo (one of the top five in the Nation), and 2 nights of demolition derby and carnival attractions all week. Office Hours: Jan.-June and Sept. thru Dec. M-F 9am-1pm, July thru Aug. 9am-5pm. We also rent out the fair ground facilities and Sterl Hall for meetings, auctions, family reunions, livestock shows, etc..

Five buildings located on 22 acres consisting of Eisenhower's family home, museum dedicated to telling the story of Dwight D. Eisenhower, Library, Visitor's Center and place of meditation, burial site of President and Mrs. Eisenhower and their first- born son, Doud Dwight Eisenhower.

Museum is open to public seven-days-a-week, except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.
